• There’s Always A Neighbour. When you choose to live in the city, you will always find someone to talk to. You’ll always have a neighbour close by to get to know!
• Future Sale Prices. Over time, the property prices in the city can push right up and are something that you can earn when you decide to sell. Take the time to get to know the trends in the area and see whether you are buying in an up and coming area. If you are, you can bet that your house price will one day soar.

Cons

• Prices Are Pushed Up. Everything on your doorstep can also push your prices up for the houses you are looking to buy. Land prices are higher, too, and you may struggle with your mortgage if you’re not budgeting carefully.
• You May Compromise. The garden you envisioned? You may not get it when you buy in the city. The square footage you get in the city is significantly less than you’d get in the countryside.
• Party, Party. On the topic of neighbours, you may encounter some loud partying going on in some neighbourhoods, so make sure that you look around and get to know the areas.
