Updating my Wardrobe with Katch Me *

*This is a collaborative post containing PR samples.

Despite being back in lockdown 2.0, I do think it’s nice, if you can, to treat yourself once in a while and you know, it’s always worth having an outfit to hand for when the rules loosen and we can head out with our mates again and mix households. I often stare into my wardrobe like it’s some kind of black hole and there’s nothing to wear so I’ve already worked on that issue for when normality resumes a little more.

I’ve been treated to a few new garms from Katch Me; one that is very me, one this is totally out of comfort zone but I so loved the look of and some new shoes cuz which girl doesn’t love a new pair of boots as the autumn rolls in.

Katch Me offer next day delivery with DPD which is a huge yes from me as, for once, a clothing brand are using a decent delivery company! They also offer 10% off your first order when you sign up to their newsletter, making their really good value clothes, even better value!

We all know a check shirt is so very me, especially a heavier flannel shirt for this in-between kinda weather. I’ve got a red and black one that I throw on over my dungarees, wear as a light jacket over my jeans and lounge around in at home for pure comfort so to add a new one to my wardrobe would be a darn good idea, right? Right! So, this time I’ve gone red, white and blue which is 100% my favourite colour combo by far.

Stepping right out of my comfort zone, I picked up a milkmaid dress as I’ve seen a few doing the rounds on Instagram and wanted to give it a go at styling one my way! Most of the lovely ladies I’ve seen wearing them are a lot taller and slimmer than I am with heels so I just wanted to make a cool fashionable item a little more me and I’m gutted that the dress didn’t fit me at all. I really needed the next size up which was my mistake, but I’ve still shared with you how I would have styled the super cute White Contrast Heart Milkmaid Dress called Poppy with some thick black tights and my favourite, slightly more, dressy Dr Martens x Lazy Oaf. How do you think it would have looked?

My final treat was something super classic and something that will get worn all the time; a new pair of boots! The Cristen Black Leather Ankle Boots are ones that can be worn with black skinny jeans, a fun t-shirt, layered with a shirt and scarf, or a cute Peter Pan collar dress and tights, or even a long maxi style dress, belted around your waist with a cute black bag to be a little more dressed up with for a cutesy dinner date! Black boots really are such a staple to any wardrobe, especially the Chelsea Boot variety as they’re so easy to style!

How would you style these items? I’m always looking for ways to try something new!
