A few weeks back I headed over to the awesome Taste of London food festival on a slightly rainy Friday afternoon, and we had a great time! This was the first time I had been to Taste of London and I will certainly be returning.
As you enter the ‘arena’, I say arena, it’s a section of Regents Park cornered off, but anyways, to your left you are welcomed to the taste of Thailand, filled with delights!
There were cocktails, food stores and of course plenty to try! I really messed myself up by being carb free as I was unable to taste a lot of the food which broke my heart!!
My American counterpart dug in and assured me that I was missing out on the good stuff! To make my situation even more frustrating, I couldn’t have any of the alcohol they were handing out due to being designated driver later that day. I had royally set myself up to fail, and luckily I didn’t!
As we wandered round we saw some famous faces, like Raymond Blanc, one of my favourites! We tried amazing products and made a few purchases. I bought a plate of Prawn Tempura which was amazing, and a plate off Pulled Pork from Barbecoa. These were great size tasting dishes which allowed me to taste and have room for more! I also grabbed a bag of Ostrich Billtong to take home, which if you haven’t tried, is incredible!
There was so much to see and do, and certainly something for everyone taste! I had a really great afternoon!
