I am one of those kinda gals that loves Valentines Day, I know you should show your partner how you feel all year round, but one extra day a year to spoil them never goes a miss with me! Having only been with my chap for a short while I didn’t want to go overboard so I thought I’d treat him to some decent alcohol as I’m nice like that! I opted for The Wild Geese Honey Liqueur after meeting the team at Taste of London Winter and being won over by them!
The bottle itself if stunning and they have an abundance of recipes on their website to mix it up a bit!
The Wild Geese Honey Liqueur has been made with Irish honey. Bees have collected nectar from the wild flowers that grow in the green landscape. Ireland is a relatively small island and they only produce limited quantities of precious honey.
We decided to drink it neat. So we literally poured The Wild Geese Irish Honey Liqueur into a glass filled with ice cubes. Simple!
I know we don’t have any posh tumblers so we had to make do!!
We absolutely loved it! We even went as far as sharing with my dad and grandad’s as they were rather intrigued by the honey infusion, and one of them said it was so easy to drink it could be dangerous! I took that as a really good sign and poured him another! Dad even made me sneak a glass full out before the chap took the rest of the bottle home with him!
Winner all round from three generations!
