When it comes to cooking, I’m no Michelin-starred chef, but recently I have come on leaps and bounds with my healthy cooking, with some help from the chap! We made a chicken stir fry just from spices we had in the cupboard and a pack of vegetables I grabbed from Tesco after a gym session, and it got a decent reception on Instagram so here’s the recipe…
Ingredients:
Coconut Oil
Chicken, diced
Mange Tout
Baby Sweetcorn
Carrots
Green Beans
Tenderstem Brocolli
Light Soy Sauce
Chinese Five Spice
Garlic Clove
Chilli Powder
Noodles
Method:
Chuck in two tablespoons of coconut oil into a wok, and leave to melt. Whilst melting, chop up your vegtables into bitesize pieces and when the oil is hot add your diced chicken.
When your chicken is cooking, crush in your garlic clove.
Once the chicken is cooked, add in all your vegetables, and keep stirring. Sprinkle in some chilli powder and chinese five spices.
Prepare your noodles, we use ones you boil, as we prefer them!
When you’re happy that your veggies are all warm, take the wok off the heat and add a splash of soy sauce.
Pop your noodles into a bowl and pile on the meat and veg!
It’s such an easy but tasty meal! Do let me know what your favouritre healthy meal is.
