This weekend was a rollercoaster of emotions to say the least!
It all began on Friday night when headed over to the O2 Kentish Town Forum for the first of two Funeral For a Friend gigs this weekend. FFAF are splitting up and they have been a HUGE part of both mine and the chaps lives, even before we met, and to go out with a bang, they played their Hours album from start to finish. It was tough, to say the least, but I knew I still had Saturday nights gig to get through!
We managed to swap our seated tickets for standing so we had such a great view too!
Saturday was an early start and on a train to Not Another Salon to get my hair sorted. They gave me a coke float whilst I was wearing these super cute mini buns and I was the happiest I’d been in ages…
That was until I got to see this…
I can’t even tell you how happy this makes me! It’s been a long process to get me to this point and I had no idea I’d be this happy with it!
From there, I met up with the chap and went for Afternoon Tea at Ma’Pluckers.
All I’m going to say was that it was awesome as there’s a blog post coming later on this week with all the deets!
It was then time to see FFAF for the very last time and we were unable to swap our tickets so from up in rafters, we sung our hearts out!
I may have cried a tiny bit too, I couldn’t help myself. When a few thousand people burst out into the last chorus whilst your favourite band stand there hugging each other it’s kind of hard not to shed a few tears!
Sunday brought a less heartbreaking day, luckily! I lost 6lbs this week and we made a mega healthy lunch…
Made tonnes of slow motion videos of the puppies…
I then scrubbed up, and had to pose with my hair as I’m so in love…
And then the in-laws made us paella <3
Such a rollercoaster!! We also started watching The Tudors on Netflix after quite a few recommendations and it seems pretty great so far!
How was your weekend?
Wow, your new hair looks AWESOME! I love the blue colour!

*sobs again* so much emotion. Your hair looks great!
I can’t even listen to them, yet, too much feels! Thank you <3
Love the new hair, Haydy! I swear, about a half-dozen of my friends were at that gig!
Was obviously the place to be this weekend 😉 Thanks doll! xx
