Earlier this year I headed to Disneyland Paris for a hen do meaning we had to travel light as we would be lugging suitcases on the train from home all the way to our hotel just outside of Disney, then into Paris before travelling home. I decided to use my hand luggage sized suitcase as I know I’m perfectly capable of travelling with that full to brim and it not being too heavy!
So what did I fill my bag with?!
My first port of call to grab some great value merch was to EMP as I’ve often purchased Disney items from there for all sorts of trips, including my most favourite Little Mermaid swimsuit that has even been worn on a spa weekend! You have to wear something Disney related when you go to Disney right?
I picked items from my two favourite characters; Stitch and Tigger! This Stitch t–shirt just states the obvious for me, I do love Stitch and I’ve often said I’d name my next doggo after him as he’s such a mischievous cutie. I wore this to travel to Disney in so it didn’t quite make it into my case but it did come home in it! My Tigger shirt was purchased to be a little ironic, as when in Disney you take photos of everything, with every character you meet and with my job, I end up planning so many photoshoots that it made me giggle.
I also picked up this Stitch pin and a Peter Pan pin too that I wore with pride on my denim jacket. We all know how much I love a good enamel pin! I picked up a few more whilst in Disney too… I may have a little problem!
This was one off my wishlist for sure. I used the trip as an excuse to purchase this epic Monsters Inc. themed flannel shirt from Cakeworthy as I’d had my eye on it for a while and I bloody love it. I had really hoped that Sully would be out to meet and greet but alas, he wasn’t but I still had to pose in my shirt at Boo’s bedroom door, right?! It also has the Monsters Inc. logo on the front which is super cute.
This was totally unplanned but between us we pretty much had the entire range of Disney themed backpacks from Primark! They range from around £8 to £12 and are just too cute! We obviously all had matching Minnie Mouse ears that were from Etsy as buying them onsite can work out pretty pricey!
I also took with me my trusty black skinny jeans and Dr Martens as they come everywhere with me, my straighteners, pyjama’s, make up bag and my toiletries. I also managed to fit in my travel iron as I didn’t want to be creased in my photos and travel hairdryer as having 4 girls in one room with only one hotel supplied dryer could end up in early mornings so we got a turn and I’m not about then when I’m away!
With the help of my packing squares, I also managed to fit in heels and a dress for our night out. I’ve learnt then by rolling clothes and using my packing squares has really improved my packing skills as I can fit so much more in my case!
We had the best time in Disney, so if this has inspired you to head to Disney World, which is always my dream to take Mike for this first time, then book your Florida tickets here or look for great deals direct from Disneyland Paris if you wish to stay a little closer to home!
