Tyler Shields Exhibition, London.

I’m a big fan of the works of Tyler Shields so getting to see a tiny exhibition of his work in London was amazing! Hosted at Intimate Modern there are only a few shots of this work from the ‘Chromatic’ set due to the size of the venue but you still get the feel of how talented this man is!  He may cause controversy setting fire to forty grands…

Madame Tussauds, London.

This weekend the partner in crime and I headed into central London to go to Madame Tussauds with our Merlin Passes.  A Merlin Pass lets into as many Merlin owned venues as you want over a year for a lump sum.  We got lucky during January and after three visits we have got more than our money back! Hotel De L’Europe, Amsterdam.

Walking up the red carpet outside the entrance to Hotel De L’Europe, often referred to as the ‘Royal Palace of Amsterdam’ we certainly felt like Royalty and our greeting inside to follow certainly kept this feeling up too!  Staff were at our beckon call, wanting to help with bags, showing you to your room and explaining how the room itself works. With a room looking…

The Butchers, Amsterdam.

Voted the best burger in Amsterdam and I’m sure they’re right! Devoured and the plate licked clean is certainly a good sign! Review to follow.…

Thai Square, Trafalgar Square.

Thai Square was a really enjoyable after theatre meal, being only a 10 mins walk away from The Playhouse. We started with the sharing platter that consisted of chicken satay, dumplings, prawn toasts, and few other mouth watering items. We thoroughly enjoyed these as it was a great way to try a few different bits on the menu. For main course I had the Pad Thai, which was very flavoursome,…
