Earlier this month we headed over to the launch of KERB in Camden Market. KERB is a food market that brings both new and old traders to a central point to feed the masses! They’ve been going since 2012 and I’ve always been a fan of their pop-up market in King’s Cross.
Fast forward a few years and KERB Camden is now open, in 35 stalls, EVERY day of the week, bring on the goodness.
So we got to try insane amounts of food, and have a cheeky beer which always bodes well for a Thursday night!
We began with having a wander and seeing what tickled our pickle and it was a Katsu Curry Burger!
It was bloody good and something I think I will be trying at home! It’s quite a fun twist on BBQ food that I think our friends would love to try.
Next up where these Halloumi Fries with yoghurt and pomegranate seeds; wow. I’m a sucker for cheese, like any kind of cheese, but right now halloumi tops my list of favs so these were right up my street. Mike isn’t a huge cheese fan and even he devoured them. They were deliciouly crispy on the outside.
We finished up our feast with crab chips; whoever thought of this combination needs a medal! The samphire set the dish off perfectly with its salty flavour. We sent photos of these to my parents and they have demanded that we go back on evening as Mum needs to try them!
The venue had a great atmosphere with incredible smells, food we’ve never heard of before and really decent prices. If you’re stuck for an idea of where to eat in London, I’d say hit up KERB as there really is something for everyone.
We were invited as guests of KERB, but all opinions are my own.
