Deep Cleaning our Bathrooms and Kitchen with Fantastic Services *

As you may have seen last week, I was lucky enough to be treated to a hell of a good oven clean that made me a very happy little lady! The lovely team from Fantastic Services saw a tweet I’d put out asking about a company that does one off cleans to get my flat back to how I want it looking. I always thought that going freelance would mean I would have a little more time at home to get the flat spotless and this is so not true; I spend more hours working, I grab a lunch break down the gym and then of an evening, if I’m not working then I want to spend time with Mike!

So when Fantastic Services said they would deep clean our two bathrooms and kitchen, I literally jumped off my chair and yelled ‘YES PLEASE!’

So as you can tell from the below photos, that flat wasn’t that grubby. It was just not as clean as I wanted it to be.

My bathroom gets a wipe over each week but I often neglect things like cleaning the shower glass properly as I can’t reach the top unless I’m stood in the bath.

And the taps just need a little extra amount of love to get them back glistening. I just need a little more time to do it, but I never do have that spare half an hour to really get into the nitty-gritty of it.

When the team had finished the taps were spotless, the glass glistened and the floor was spotless. The thing with having white tiles is that every tiny thing shows up!

I never know how to make the stainless steel sink look clean! No matter what I do to it, it always has marks on it, so I kind of give up with it so that was one of the main areas of the kitchen that needed a little attention.

We clean the hob each time we use it, which is 3 or 4 times a week, but sometimes it does get left as we have more interesting things to do of an evening like edit videos or photos or catch up with Peaky Blinders. I swear we are the only people that haven’t finished it yet!

But look at how spotless the team got it for me! I think it’s the cleanest the hob has ever been! We are doing our best to keep it that spotless now whenever we use it as it just looks so much nicer and it obviously a lot more hygienic too.

And that sink, I could almost see myself in it! It shone so bright, as did the tap, which is often a little on the grubby side!

The final room they cleaned was Mike’s bathroom, and it was pretty grim. It’s the one room of the flat that I refuse to clean as boys are icky. Nah, I joke, it’s just very much his space and he always offered to clean it himself so it stuck that way.

The windows on the shower were grim, the sink area left a lot to be desired and I didn’t even want to go near the toilet.

But the team didn’t care about the mess, they didn’t wince at the mess and they just got on with it.

Look how clean that glass is! It has never looked so good in all the time that I’ve lived here! It was totally spotless, as was the rest of the bathroom to match. I didn’t want to take too many photos of it as I feel bathrooms can be quite personal spaces, but for once this looked and smelt super pristine.
