I’m one of those people that love a good cocktail but never make them at home as I tend to just buy wine, but the lovely team from 31 Dover have changed that! They challenged me to make some bloody good cocktails using the limited edition Disaronno Wears Missoni that looks super pretty on our drinks rack. I also think I might pop a candle in the top when it’s all gone as it’d be such a shame to waste such a pretty bottle!
Here’s what I came up with using mainly items I already had at home so you can make them super easy too!
This recipe makes four cocktails and has a little bit of wintery feel to it so it makes it perfect for this time of year. All you need its 250ml cranberry juice, 125ml of vodka, 100ml of Disaronno and a splash of freshly squeezed orange juice. To make this wintery dream you simply mix cranberry juice, vodka, Disaronno, and orange juice into a jug. If you have a cocktail shaker then, by all means, throw in some ice and give it a good shake. For the best overall finish strain into a martini glass and garnish with clementine slices or in my case, into my whiskey tumbler with some whiskey cubes to keep it cool.
This is yet another super easy to make drink! Can you tell I’m all about ease with cocktail making!? It means you can make it super fast and get to drinking it! You only need three ingredients for this one and all it is is your Disaronno, some milk and 2 scoops vanilla ice cream! You pop all of the items in the blender with a cup of crushed ice and blend until smooth. I’d say around 100ml of Disaronno and 50ml of milk! I’m yet to try it but I think this could also work warmed up with some chocolate sprinkles on top as a winter warmer! Will have to report back on that idea!
Ok, so this may not really count as a full-blown cocktail but it’s my favouite way to drink Disaranno! Many people really like the combination of Disaronno and Coke recipe because it tastes like a sweet drink, not an alcoholic one, which does mean you can drink more of it so drink this, and all alcoholic drinks sensibly, please! The mix of Disaronno and Coke reminds me of vanilla flavours so that’s why it’s such a win for me!
