Madame Tussauds, London.

This weekend the partner in crime and I headed into central London to go to Madame Tussauds with our Merlin Passes.  A Merlin Pass lets into as many Merlin owned venues as you want over a year for a lump sum.  We got lucky during January and after three visits we have got more than our money back! We were a little disappointed by the…

The Butcher, Amsterdam.

Whilst in Amsterdam I couldn’t let the quest for the best burger come to a stand still, so we asked our hotel concierge for his best ideas of where to head.  We ended up in The Butcher. After wandering around the famous Albert Cuyp Market we thought the time had come to indulge ourselves in what had been labeled the burger in Amsterdam.  We ordered the beef hot dog, ‘who…

With a room looking…

Thai Square, Trafalgar Square.

Thai Square was a really enjoyable after theatre meal, being only a 10 mins walk away from The Playhouse. We started with the sharing platter that consisted of chicken satay, dumplings, prawn toasts, and few other mouth watering items. We thoroughly enjoyed these as it was a great way to try a few different bits on the menu. For main course I had the Pad Thai, which was very flavoursome,…

Spamalot, The Playhouse, Embankment.

This weekend myself and the partner in crime visited the theatre, and we were literally in tears with laughter.  Seeing Spamalot is something we spoke about a few times so I thought I’d treat him for Valentines, a little early I know! Month Python is one of my all time most favourite things, nothing beats being really silly and then reacting out scenes in every day life!…
